These blanks have lacquer-sealed tips that waterproof the round. Standard blanks have the risk of moisture through the crimp causing failure. On top of the performance benefits, you can also run the classic 4 Ball / 1 Tracer ratio for a 100-round belt. These come with period-correct reproduction labels to match.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Quick answers to the most common questions about our blanks and packaging.

Based on our own testing, yes, our consistent powder charge and uniform new brass are proven to be the cause for dependable cycling. Final performance still depends on your BFA setup and gas/orifice settings.

No. We use uniform, new brass instead of mixed, once-fired, or range-pickup brass. This is to reduce pressure and fit variability and improve feeding consistency in semi-auto platforms.

We reproduced the labels and the boxes that we based off of the originals we have on hand. They are one-to-one copies. The labels were professionally recreated to seal each box exactly as it would have been during wartime ammunition storage. Our boxes were also recreated from authentic WWII samples to ensure the dimensions are historically identical. Because blank cartridges are shorter than live rounds, we chose not to alter the box size. Instead, we developed a proprietary insert that allows the blanks to fit perfectly within the dimensions of original packaging.

Absolutely. The look of our packaging makes it so you can open, unpack, and reload your enblocs right in camp. Additionally, our custom insert keeps boxes weight-bearing and display-ready; you can maintain period-correct presentation even after you've spent all of your blanks. Just make sure the label-seal stays in tact.

Follow your firearm’s BFA guidance and tune for function and safety. Start conservative, verify clear barrels, and test at safe distances. There are many different Blank Firing Adapters and each rifle is different. Ones that are not shot much will have a stronger recoil spring and require higher pressure. Others won't need as much pressure to successfully cycle a new blank. You will have to test out your gun and see which BFA works for you. We always recommend ones where you can adjust the pressure by installing smaller or larger gas plugs.

Blank ammunition ships via standard ground service in compliance with carrier regulations for small arms cartridges (ORM-D / Limited Quantity). Packages are safely sealed and labeled in accordance with DOT and UPS guidelines to ensure secure delivery. Tracking information is provided once your order ships.

Yes, blank ammunition can be shipped to both residential and commercial addresses in California. California’s ammunition laws specifically exempt blank ammunition from background checks and FFL requirements. No Federal Firearms License (FFL) or background check is needed.

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or any U.S. territories overseas (including Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands) due to carrier restrictions on ammunition transport.

Only in the state of Florida as that is where the LLC is located.

Orlando Ordnance was founded with one goal: to bring authentic, dependable blanks to the reenactment community. After years of dealing with inconsistent powder loads, unreliable cycling, misfires, mixed or once-fired range-pickup brass, and cheap plastic bag packaging, we decided to create the solution reenactors had been waiting for.

At Orlando Ordnance, every blank is loaded for consistency, individually inspected for reliability, and uses uniform brass to ensure smooth, dependable performance in every firearm.
